Try Safe mode with networking. And don't use AVG, it isn't the best (and obviously didn't catch the infection you got.) Try a free trial of Kaspersky, along with Malwarebytes and SUPERAntiSpyware.

Uninstall Spyware Doctor and Antivirus Free. Wait until norton subscription is finish. In the meantime, install Malwarebytes and SuperANtiSpyware

They get viruses, just not as many. Only because the world is entirely dominated by microsoft, so malware creators logically target the windows platform. Know what you are talking about before you run your mouth. I have a new 17 inch macbook pro, and I have had two different viruses. I've owned several macs, and several pc's. My only problem with macs is they are way way way overpriced. You do not get what you pay for.

@kochkochkoch True. There well over a dozen viruses that can infect a modern Macintosh, but a merely 140,000 or so for Windows.

well , the active guard from SAS (superantispy) and MBAM (malwarebytes) its poor... but the scanner performs very good

anyway, SpyTermi its good but I think it eat a lot of cpu sometimes , so , the best thing seems to use a great AV than use these "SPYWARE GUARDIANS"

You forgot to check on the unknown application tab after the scan. It will give you all the rogues installed on the PC so you can move them to Quarentine. I tested this software on a heavily infected PC, same as yours, I think I have more rogues, but anyway, it did a great job cleaning every single icon on the taskbar!!!

They are all anti-spyware now because virus times are gone long time ago. Main difference is that dedicated antispyware toold does not scan emails and dedicated antivirus tools rarely scan registry, however with some infections its necessary.

Also AV-comparatives did on-demand and retrospective tests, these test are not reliable way to determine how product operate on infected machine because tere are several different ways to detect malware instead of scanning.

actually, there are lots of viruses on the internet. EICAR is an antivirus test file, no antispyware will detect it

VBA32 it a lot better than you think bud :)

Its paranoid heuristic mode helped me to clean many systems where SAS and MBAM could not help :)
