@drummerboymatty The reason for the third guitar is because of the way MCR recorded the song in the studio.

They used multiple layers of guitar.

Pretty much every song has more guitar work in the studio than the band does guitarists.

This cover is based on my interpretation of what I hear in the commercial recording, which is why there's 3 guitars and it's played differently =)

@blue42goo Sure, just use any kind of typical video camera. You can even use the video camera that's built into the digital cameras nowadays. I put a few mics around the drumset for my recent video ("Breath" by Breaking Benjamin) in order to better capture the drum sound. After all of the vids are recorded, I bring them into Sony Vegas Pro to edit. Good luck!
