The idea that a star is born on the streets could have panned out over several seasons. But the hook of a bunch of kid mick brothers taking over the neighborhood ran by old school Italians was a s good as it was gonna get - after that it becomes just another generic mafia story. Broad doesn't get you seasons.

House, you know House, Fox's massively popular show and the most watched show in the world in 2008, only had about 5-6 million veiwers for the first 8 episodes and then on the 9th one it jumped to 14 million and has stayed there ever since. Fuck NBC.
