Liberals like talking about her...because it makes a mockery of the republican party. I know republicans think that Palin "scares" them...bu thtat couldn't be further from the truth. They know that if she runs for president in 2012 people will vote for a democrat, just to vote against her. Sarah Palin is plenty smart, but she's not on the same plane as Krauthammer. His conservative credentials are questionable, but is probably the best person to capture the center. You have to understand, the base can't win a presidency.
