It's quite funny, but foreigners get better treatment in Serbia than our own people. When people hear you talking in a foreign language, as long as you don't appear hostile, you'll get all the help and support you need. So fell free to visit Serbia (not just Belgrade, there are many more beautiful things to see - Novi Sad is a must see for example), no matter where you come from.

I'm a witness to that, and all the Americans and others that stayed with me in a hostel on Belgrade, had so much fun there!! Serbians are amazing and welcoming people and the girls are really beautiful. I also heard many shit before i came, but it was absolutely rubbish!! Serbia is amazing and will be recommended and special to me :)

I loved Belgrade! Without a doubt, one of the most different cities I've ever been to. It's a shame the video doesn't show any of Belgrade's night life; clubs and cafes tucked into residential areas or on boats anchored on the Danube and Sava rivers. It's also great to people watch on the Knez Mihailova too. Also, to anyone who says foreigners aren't welcome in Belgrade...that's a total lie. I'm as American as apple pie, and met absolutely wonderful people in Belgrade and Serbia. Go there!
