She sang it so softly, but the song is about somebody struggling and fighting against the fate. I don't hear much power at the chorus at all. Honestly she didn't even interpret the song correctly.

種種因素, 有些歌手走紅了, 有些歌手則不曾被看好

香港的音樂平台不是很自由, 比台灣更商業化, 埋沒了有潛質的音樂和聲音...

所以說像EASON 和 GEM,

其實只是少數有實力而且能受大眾認同的香港歌手.

其他的 像王菀之 她走的路線大概是偏離主流.. 才沒有得到廣泛的關注.

不過 總有一些真正在意歌曲音樂性的樂迷朋友吧...希望你是!

這一類歌手的付出和才華是值得被發掘的!

This performance is excellent, but I do agree that Sandy's original version is still too classic to compare to.

Obviously, there are no comparisons between her and Sandy. She's a good singer for a new comer. The only similarity I find between the two are the small eyes. Sandy's unique "eyes" gave her the edge and propelled her to stardom. People, it's not all about hard work and dedication. Luck and fortune plays a big role in a musician's career? I'm just saying.......

听过王菀之很多歌, 但都是唱的太含蓄, 好象声音没有放出来, 只有这首, 听起来是放开声唱, 这样更好听, 钢琴也弹得很好.!

You must be kidding. She is still at least one level below Sandy Lam. Her voice is simply too weak for this song. Sandy's version has that inside strength and is more touching the more you listen to it.
