Now that I think of it, this song makes me picture Germany during World War II. I wasn't around way back then. But for some reason, the dark tone of this song makes me picture how hellish Germany was during that period in time.

This music reminds me from the level 6. I used to play this game by my brother's NES when I was like 6 years old and I always argued when I tried to crush that annoying wall or something like that with machine gun in the beginning of the level. I didn't knew that I should pass the fifth level first :D

After seeing the Rearmed version, I decided to try the NES version (Wasn't around at that time) using an emulator. Damn, the music is great, and the gameplay is amazing. Of course, I'm kind of cheating by using save states...but meh. :P

I know I'm gonna sound sort of corny, but there's something haunting about this song, even though it's produced on a primitive 8-bit machine. When I hear it, I think of helicopters flying over the desert. It's sunset, so the ground below is dark, and the sky looks like fire.
