The first thing I thought is he is giving an explanation to us about how things work and he has to use extensive notes and look at them every other word in order to do so. Now I wonder if he remembers how cocky he was when he told an interviewer how important the chair is he sits in. He is so funny. The president needed notes to tell us how economics works. Thanks to Accounting Rules and Taxpayer Trillions for Treasury Purchases, Banks are holding onto their foreclosures instead of selling them. Selling foreclosures helps home depo as well as our GDP, as foreclosure purchases create a wave of economic activity, starting with Home Depot and ending in increased tax revenues.
