Albireo merely spectated and Kite didn't join the game until some time later. The only nickname that was given to Kite was "Kite Of The Azure Flame" along with "Balmung Of The Azure Sky" and "Orca Of The Azure Sea". Though it is speculated that BlackRose obtained a similar nickname as "BlackRose Of The Azure Storm".
@NicholasTheLugia I thought Azure Kite, Balmung, and Orca were AIDA created by Aura, if they were NPC's they would be controlled by the creators of the game of .Hack, but the Creators couldn't touch this AIDa or NPC you call it because it was so high of a risk to do it, nor could they remove it. Actually, the Azure Knights are neither AIDA nor NPC. They're Vagrant A.I. created by Aura to keep the world stable and free of corruption. The reason they look like zombie versions of their original counterparts was because Aura was unable to finish them by the time AIDA attacked the network. And the reason why she can't finish them now is because once she released them to defend The World, she went into hiding deep in the vast sea of data.
Azure Kite is a program created by aura to battle against "tri-edge" and the other stuff. Shugo and Rena are not in either of this, or even considered. And Kite is model for Azure Kite. Azure Kite was supposed to be able to talk and interact, but since tri edge trying to save his sister corrupted the world, aura had to release kite, balmug, and orca early, before they were completed.
See I played the older .hack games but I haven't played the newer ones [Or seen .hack Roots] so I have no clue who this "tri-edge" person is...Some .hack fan I am T-T....I'm ashamed.....

At the end of the original .hack series Morganna turns Sora into the "puppet thing" called Skeith which is the final boss in the first game. Then in the third game "Outbreak" you have a side mission to find the red wand and when you do Sora is released.

Simple. He saw Aura being chased by Skeith at the beginning, some data charge happened to him, he got the bracelet and his clothes were redesigned to be red. Why red? Maybe because it looked better. Who knows?
First game he was datadrained by Skeith, who became Haseo's avatar...honestly the more I think about it the better this game was...story wise its almost on par with FFVII
Kite's PC character was green when he first created it. He data drains a Data Bug at ∆ Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground really early on in the game.
When he and BlackRose are confronted by a Data Bug, Balmung appears, and he's all like "Run! Get out of here!". And he starts fighting the data bug. Then Kite suddenly hears Aura talking to him, and she tells him to open the Book of the Twilight. He opens it and receives the bracelet. Then he becomes red and gets some weird symbols on his legs.
yeah I got the book series later on and it told me everything i needed to know. Ovan is known as Tri-Edge because of the AIDA that infect him was known as Tri-Edge, not because he could do the mark. The mark was more of a signature that it was Tri-Edge, other than it was a skill proven. The extra arm being a weapon for Ovan is obvious by the. Azure Kite was just a scapegoat in the whole scene
If your friend finsihed the game yet or not. Advice to fighting Macha later on bring lots of healing potions and a wavemaster who know how to disspell Charm.

your brother is right. That means they're not one and the same - Kite got data drained and then his data was taken over by an AIDA then when Haseo defeated Tri-edge, The AIDA went away and the character was taken over by a good data bug.
I have different info. Ok, Tri-edge, A.K.A The Azure kite was created by Aura. Kite's Avatar, The real one was deleted by C.C.Corp. So aura made Tri-edge. Tri-edge is like a protector to the world. He destorys Aida. He wasn't effected by it. In the fight between Haseo and Tri-edge. The first one. Ovan was around when they were fighting. The reason that Tri-edge was battling Haseo was because Ovan was behind the door and Tri-edge wanted to get to him and fight him, but Haseo was in the way.
Ok for everyone to know! Tri-Edge is not Kite Tri-Edge just to the shape look and form of Kite. Same with Azure Bulmeg and Azure Orca! Just for everyone to know. I know Budds already know haha 5/5

okay i dont have the original 4 but i have the manga dothack//xxxx i know its a retelling of the games in a different way but in the manga he is always a red twinblade. why is he green in the beginning of quarintine and then suddenly be red?

Simple. He saw Aura being chased by Skeith at the beginning, some data charge happened to him, he got the bracelet and his clothes were redesigned to be red. Why red? Maybe because it looked better. Who knows?

First game he was datadrained by Skeith, who became Haseo's avatar...honestly the more I think about it the better this game was...story wise its almost on par with FFVII

Kite's PC character was green when he first created it. He data drains a Data Bug at ∆ Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground really early on in the game.
When he and BlackRose are confronted by a Data Bug, Balmung appears, and he's all like "Run! Get out of here!". And he starts fighting the data bug. Then Kite suddenly hears Aura talking to him, and she tells him to open the Book of the Twilight. He opens it and receives the bracelet. Then he becomes red and gets some weird symbols on his legs.

yeah I got the book series later on and it told me everything i needed to know. Thing is at the time I only had the manga so i didnt know y he was always red according to (yes i know that the mangas are spin offs) I would just like to say to everone that got my previous comment i already have the answer but thx for telling me you dont have to worry about it anymore. btw oblivion howd you make the delta sign?

Not sure for PCs, but on a Mac its Option+J. Ironic that I don't know the method for PCs, though, because it's my favorite operating system =P

Ovan is known as Tri-Edge because of the AIDA that infect him was known as Tri-Edge, not because he could do the mark. The mark was more of a signature that it was Tri-Edge, other than it was a skill proven. The extra arm being a weapon for Ovan is obvious by the. Azure Kite was just a scapegoat in the whole scene

Very nicely done, only thing I noticed was that the variety of scenes seemed limited to Infection/Mutation and Vol 1 of G.U.
(And btw, I have beaten all the games, G.U. and IMOQ)

the first 2 is for the ps1 i got two first but gave it to my friend(our ps1 broke and it looks like my mom dont have any plans on buying a new one oh~the memories) the sequels(3,4,5)are for the ps2 though not as good as 2..i got 3 cause my uncle gave it to me..alot of people says 4 sucks like hell..but i still want to play it T-T...the suikoden series is very underrated..

did anyone ever notice that in the first GU game in the cutscene after you beat Azure Flame God, hase owas standing on a mirror like surface ans his reflection looked like Kite form the original series? my friend said that atoli looked like Blackrose but i didnt really look at atoli's reflection

Did you notice that Haseo was looking at something after the fight? after he got Data drain? It was Ovan. And Tri-edge was blamed that he was killing players when it was ovan. That "A" sign was really Ovan's sign. NOT Tri-edge's. I thought the same thing you guys did. But this info I was gathering up. I'm still tring to confirm it. Lol. I'm a tri-edge geek. your brother is right. That means they're not one and the same - Kite got data drained and then his data was taken over by an AIDA then when Haseo defeated Tri-edge, The AIDA went away and the character was taken over by a good data bug.

I have different info. Ok, Tri-edge, A.K.A The Azure kite was created by Aura. Kite's Avatar, The real one was deleted by C.C.Corp. So aura made Tri-edge. Tri-edge is like a protector to the world. He destorys Aida. He wasn't effected by it. In the fight between Haseo and Tri-edge. The first one. Ovan was around when they were fighting. The reason that Tri-edge was battling Haseo was because Ovan was behind the door and Tri-edge wanted to get to him and fight him, but Haseo was in the way.

the "tri-edge" that looks like Kite is not Tri-edge at all, but a "guardian" created by Aura to eradicate anomalies within the World. He is "Azure Kite". The true Tri-edge is someone completely DIFFERENT. Not even a kite-look-alike... play the GU series... -_-;
