  • We should be glad Holly wood is reconizing our FELA not critize them for doing a good Job! Nobody can replace the originality of Fela, its them tell the next generation that there was once a Nigerian Lengend called FELA... Thanks to Will Smith, Jay-Z for their efforts in promoting African Culture, we are Proud of you guys..You are all Africans..Peter Tosh said no matter where you may be as far you are black you are an AFRICAN...God bless..

  • *almost 40 years

  • Nothing can beat the original from over 40 years ago!

  • I'm really very pleased that they did not mess up or water down the original beat/rythym.. Stayed true to Fela's original "intent"

  • Super !!!!!

  • Someone should have worked with him on the pronunciation of Yoruba words, He sounds to oyinbo!

But it's a great show you should go and see it!

  • @MOJOBABYXO hahah well you cant have it all the oyinbo dont know the difference do they ? lol!

  • this is africa but in new york get ready

  • ``music is the weapon`` - fela kuti

  • wow...great song. great delivery. its never easy getting it in its real essense and local dialect, but hey, music is universal. These performers weren't in his time or continent 30 years ago, but they did a damn good job.

I grew up living less than 20 minutes from the shrine, and watched him perform this very song live in 1996. he truly was a legend, he was electrifying.

  • @MrAllenpardew I grew up 2 seconds away from the shrine. My house was actually opposite the shrine. I dont even need to go there since I can enjoy his music in my living room.

  • @atomtopa fela had a house in ikeja and i remember the smell of ganja a mile off and those girls looking stoned all over the place in the area but the music is on another level, yrs later it still as fresh and as relevant and as vital as it was then as it is now, these new interpretations are just another angle so we must not grudge the oyinbo for not reproducing the original as nothing can ever replace fela just as nothing can replace their micheal jackson or their james brown, both unique .

  • To get this mp3 click to audofier doht cohm.

  • Bad Imitation Job
