Any band mentioned in these comments couldn't hang with Pantera. They produced their first few albums themselves. Dime basically said it was the type of shit he was into in high school and he didn't give a fuck if people didn't like it. Their major label shit was more metal than any of the shit "underground" bands fags claim to like because they think it gives them street cred. It's funny how some people who listen to metal automatically diss famous metal bands and treat less known bands like gods, just cauz they are less known.

Truth is that a band can be awesome also if it's extremely well known, and an unknown band can be extremely shit (not talking about Sacred Reich, they're very good).

Why cant people simply enjoy music? I like Metallica, Pantera, Megadeth etc. but I also like stuff that is known just to a dozen people on the whole planet.

@overkillforever1 Holy shit I thought I posted something different, you're right I fucked up but as I was saying in the early 90's Overkill released "I Hear Black" and "W.F.O." that were Groove albums, however the following ("The Killing Kind" and "Necroshine") were Thrash Metal with a Groove noticeable (Except for "From the Underground and Below" that was more Groove than Thrash). Anyway Most of them were good and solid records (And sorry, I fucked up because of all the Panteras comments here)
