It doesn't matter what European language you speak or what caucasian person you marry, people in this world always seem to remind you of your 'blackness' and your perceived lower worth. the proof of that? Almost every black population outside of Africa--whether it is in the U.S., South America, India, Phillipines, Australia, central America, etc.--is FIGHTING against poverty and for equality. Do the research if you think it sounds too incredible to be true. And we are in the 21st century.

@port44life and by that same token, everyone knows that most people in most Latin American countries have European ancestry. (Since you mentioned it about African ancestry). In fact tens of millions of White Americans have African ancestry, but it is a black and white "thing" since these categories are social constructs, whites and blacks persist even if they have mixture with other things. Almost all African Americans are part European by an average of 20% of total ancestry.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion when it comes to preferences/taste. But no one with a brain and a little bit of reading can deny that all AMERICAS (the 3 of them) were constructed under a WHITE SUPREMACIST ideology that shaped our common sense, including our concepts regarding beauty. I grew up watching Disney cartoons and thinking that prince charming had to be White. What a stupid concept.

Not in Brazil. In the U.S. there is a thing called THE ONE DROP RULE where one single African ancestor make you black. In Brazil, people are judged by their actual appearance, allowing families of mixed races to be seen as white or black by the society, depending on how dark or light your skin is. That doesn't mean there is no racism, though. The darker you are, the less opportunity you have.

Brazilian models sell their photoshoots to rich countries in Europe,US,Canada,Australia,Japan,S.Korea.Women who buy magazines look for ressemblance in those models so obviously they must be white as those countries are like 100% white.Modern Japanese women also follow same fashion patterns.These women look up to models looking for the suitable clothes for themselves and they need to feel like they are looking at themselves in the magazines imagining how it would suit them to wear sth similar.

They can have a black fashion shows and their members may be even 100% black or coloured.

Europe,US,Canada,Australia,Japan,S.Korea these countries are not 100% white what planet do you live on. Those places dont even represent the whole world as a collective of ethnic diversity. Europe is not a country it is a continent with many countries and all the inhabitants are not just fair skinned. One more thing I dont recall ever seeing Asian models being very popular in fashion magazines.

nature is unbias TNUCARU. The perception of beauty varies from tribe to tribe(culture to culture). To say that whites are more attractive than another race is simply a reflection of your opinion. But to say that we as humans are genetically predisposed to like someone based on their likeness to european facial geometry is inaccurate.

These phenotypes are most prevalent in the white population. "Brazil's fashion industry is almost exclusively white" - Well, maybe the reason for that is the same as the one for the black dominated sprinting scene in athletics. Does any1 ever consider that? Maybe (on average) whites are more attractive than blacks just as (on average) blacks are better sprinters than whites. Imagine if we had white quotas in sprint finals or the NBA, that wouldn't be fair on the black athletes who deserved to be there but had to give up their palces to meet quota demands
