When you dogs were growing up did they play bite alot. Our GSD is 7 months and is still biting but palying.

@keshav88da they will go great together if you get your GSD as a puppy =) that way he'll grow up alongside your golden retriever and they should get along well. if they're the same gender, from my experience, there's a chance they'll have some disputes as they become teens... however, if you take their daily walks (if together, better), they should have a healthy relationship =)

Our German Shepherd chomped 4-6 a year. Our pool guy suggested putting in a tube that automatically holds the chlorine tablets out of the pool and filters them in. They installed the tube for free, since they maintain our chemical balance in the pool. It saves us $75 - $100 a year.

@jlrr04 BTW, your dogs are gorgeous. your GSD and mine have almost identical black and tan markings and shading, meaning black and tan both dispersed evenly in the same places, almost like they could be the same litter. Do they ever get into fights? If so, how do you take care of it?

yes, unfortunately, they do... the older one, who's the 'alfa', gets in a fight with his son. he always fights with a male... we don't know yet how to deal with it better. when we walk them a lot, they become really tired and don't fight. but we don't have that much time to walk 6 dogs =( so, we just keep them separated (in different yards). that way we don't have a problem. but if they get into a fight, the only way we know to split it is with pepper spray.

German Sheperds are my favourite, this is a wonderful video. We have to now aged just one from the same litter, they are brother and sister. My gosh....5 German Shepherds.....That's how my mom used to have as a kid D8.....I want my own GSD few years from now but I won't get 5 of them unfortunately 8(....Having 5 GSD is like having a house full of grown up "kids" - only with fur, sharp teeth, bark and walk on four!!
