@bloodyrockfire You could try Melechesh and Nile. The former is an Israeli Black Metal band who experiments with their native musical influences, and their lyrics explore Sumerian/Babylonian/Assyrian mythology. Nile is a Death Metal band from USA who have extensive Ancient Egyptian influences, both lyrically and sometimes, musically. Give both a checkout, it's about as close as you'll find I think.

@bloodyrockfire Hmm, try the two albums by Karl Sanders, Saurian Meditation and Saurian Excorcism. Karl Sanders is actually the guitarist/vocalist/lyricist of the aforementioned Nile, so his solo albums don't touch on metal at all, but instead oriental instrumentation. Try the song Shira Gula Pazu, for starters.
