I saw a promote from a Rochester news station, WHAM-TV channel 13, and I saw that pretty soon they will reveal a circle 13 logo just like KTRK/WTVG. Looks like that is the first station in the nation to have a circle 13 logo and not O&O ABC station.
MM-HMM. and demonstrating what shawnod said, there are no 'good evening' greetings anymore. i talked with one of the workers at channel 9. they hail their focus groups...puh.
Meh. Automated operations now; so many prerecorded teases during newscasts, it's ridiculous; the same 2 music cuts per newscast, and they don't even bother to use the rest of the package for anything other than franchise stingers... oh, and sometimes when they're trying to close the newscast, system times out on em and they go to commercial. And i got no problem with Beau Weaver as V/O, but couldn't they go Scott Chapin like the rest of the Cox stations (well, most of em)?
Now we can add WEWS in that list of good news stations for now because of the anchor, who just retire, Ted Henry says an shocking statement warning that the the news media outside his working station have change and, BUT, he also expected that his working station will change as well after all his years in fair journalism in WEWS.

The previous version of the Eyewitness News theme used in the mid-late 90s, was far better than what they use now.

What do you mean the "Traditional" way?

The "Eyewitness News" theme tune sounds the same what WTVG (Channel 13 also) use to use before they upgrade to the new "Eyewitness News" theme.
