When people talk about Season 5 they never discuss the wardrobe. I've read that the kids didn't like what they had to wear in the earlier seasons especially because they were more like costumes than clothing people wore outside.

I think in Season 5 the whole family (except Alice) started to wear really nice threads, not cheesy or corny at all. Mike and Carol especially had some nice outfits.
