there is no such thing as a POISONOUS snake. They are called venomous. :)
I work with non-venomous at the moment, but I would soon like to get into keeping venomous. I need more preparation, skill, and space to keep venomous, which i don't have at the moment. Vipers rock my world, and i'd like to keep a gaboon viper when I get around to it :)

^_^ it felt like curved needles being puches into my skin. But the thing was, it didn't last long. This vid was supposed to be funny-I get bit by other snakes all the time :)
Your carpet looks like he's still a little guy...they're usually pretty unpredictable for a while until they get some real good size on them. Mine is 8ft and weighs about 10lbs..with the size of his head if he decided to bite me he'd probably send me to the ER for stitches!

There a LOADS of different kinds of poisonous snake, what are you on about? Vipers, Cottonmouths, Mambas ring a bell? (to name a few)

he's about 4 foot 2 inches. He's small for a carpet, but huge compared to my other snakes.
