im not judgeing you at all but i find that a bit harsh because your opinion has nothing to do about his personal life or music. i think hes great you dont but thats the spice of life!
@ziggyrotten Since his daughter is the perfect female mini-version of Scott Weiland I think she will be the one to follow in his footsteps...at least that's what people around them and her mother says
such a beautiful song...god i love Scott Weiland idk what id do without his music, its what keeps me alive thanks for this rare gem love it more than the record version
WOW!! love Scott! love his music, bands, voice, on stage enthusiasm...but i have never came across this song before...i kno i kno.. some fan huh??...well the point is i was blown away hearing this song!!!
Great song...and yes very very VERY underated..buying the album tomorrow because of it as well!!!!
Scott needs to go to Peru and take Ayahuasca under the close guidance of seasoned Shamans down there in order to kick any/all addictions...whether to drugs, fame, or memories of an abusive father/upbringing. The Shamans heal addicts all the time, assuming the addicts go with the intention of truly wanting to be healed.
Indeed he did. The 1st 16 pages of Sting's memoirs, "Broken Music", is a description of said experience, including the insights he gained from his subconscious mind about HIS tortured relationship with HIS father. Hence my urging Weiland to do the same...
i love this version of the song, i cant find this video anywhere tho i know its from mtv 120 minutes show if someone knows where to find this let me know thanks
He just changes vocals all the time, he's cameleon. very good song though. There's another one like this for his son Song for sleeping from Shangri album.
Coolness is staring at the sun
Coolness is driving with my son
Time and time again I’m not the man
Time and time again I’m not the one
Now go to sleep you little child of mine
I wish I had the beauty you hold inside
Now go to sleep you little boy of mine
You make the world a better place to find

I think this is a great song. My only criticism is the repetition of lyrics.

the repetition is what makes this kind of music better... it's a 1o thing...

This is a clip from 120 minutes with Matt Pinfield in April 1998. STP never played any of Weiland's solo stuff... Weiland wouldn't have it.
