@dirtydingo73 You want to look at net income. Net income is the same as earnings. At least that's what he said in the video. Revenue is the 3M dollars at the beginning of the income statement.
Just heard you on NPR, which led me here. Only watched two videos so far, but they're informative and easy to understand. Great teaching style. The drawing board is great, but is it possible for you to use a real income statement/balance sheet/cash flow to apply your teachings? Maybe incorporate it in the end to summarize the lesson using a real example? Keep up the great work and I'm confident you'll be able to "sustain" your business towards the year end.
