  • @super0spore0fan sure. make sure you give credit where due, and send me a link once you're done :)

  • Where can I get LSDJ? and does it work on the gba?

  • sir..? what the fuck is this shit.

  • fack : screen doesn't move (for track example), it's just a pasted screen

    the song is great

  • @gabin49140 You're not looking hard enough.

    It's kinda hard to see.

  • @gabin49140 That's what LSDJ looks like when you use it.

  • @gabin49140 fack?

  • xD awesssommme

  • i wish i hade my gameboy

  • Waaay too clear

  • thats fucking BOSS

  • The drums really kick here!

  • nice job

  • SO FAKE!

  • @Kalle72 stop trolling, its LSDJ a mass amount of chip-tune artists use it, check on 8bc.org most people on there use it, I'm using at the moment on a gameboy emulator.

Its more popular however to put it on a blank gameboy cartridge and record using a 1/8" cable. trust me its real, search lsdj and there are tutorials and videos of it all over youtube.

  • @Kalle72 Why?

  • @Kalle72 You're a fuckin retard.

  • @shadeslate YOU'RE the retard...

  • @Kalle72 ok kiddo

  • thumb up if u noticed black under nail :/

    fujjj

  • Makes me wish I knew what happened to my game boy.

Oh well, I still have milky tracker... ( ._.)

  • COOLLL SONG!! ;) can i download it for the game im making, PPLLLEEAASSEE!!

i'll give you credit and apreciate it if you let me, ok?

  • this is really what game boy was meant for

  • Do I have to have a certain type of Gameboy to use LSDj?

    Plz reply!

  • Que es eso? Un cartucho o un accesorio? Vale para gbc o para gba sp?

    Gracias ^^

  • where can i get an lsdj cartridge?

  • Where did you get your lsdj?

  • Fucking amazing, more suprised you have a working gameboy in such good condition still

  • @phonixzero That's not uncommon at all, actually. Check Amazon, there are tons.

  • So this is what playing music means?

  • @gre8 There are lots of ways of playing and making music. This is one of them, yes.

  • @littlescale It was a little jokea bout the gameboy itself man, i'm not bashing on the music. It is quite neat...

  • @gre8 Sorry for being so serious! I read it differently :)

  • @littlescale Funny thing was, I thought he had meant the same thing.

  • @littlescale I think that guy was making a joke. Like you play a gameboy, but this guy is making music with one. It's a play on words

  • @gre8 lol, i get it! thats funny

  • lolcomments This is fantastic, thanks for sharing.

  • I was like "what the hell is he playing???"

Too bad I didn't have a chance to play a real Game Boy (only emulators)

  • @djjoynt12 how would it be fake?

  • Comment removed

  • @djjoynt12 well, you're wrong. that's all I can say. Look up LSDJ. It's a tracker for Game Boy.

  • @djjoynt12 You mean fake and ridiculous. Or fake and boring. Or fake and absurd.

    Because gay is okay.

    Nice work, litlescale.

  • You're right, calling anything Gameboy-related "gay" is a blatant insult to the Gameboy.

  • @ferretallica Not quite. "Gay" isn't a derogatory term. Therefore, calling something "gay" wouldn't be an insult at all.

  • @TheMandusa - it's all a matter of context. I'm sure a turd wouldn't be insulted at being called a turd either.

  • @ferretallica No, it's not a matter of context. It's a matter of human decency.

  • @djjoynt12 Do video's have sexuality now?

  • @djjoynt12 havent u ever hurd of lsdj god

  • @djjoynt12 lol noob

  • !!! I want this!!!! If you teach me how to do this man I'd totally pay you :D

  • what game is that? xD

Really, how did you get the gameboy to do that?

  • @UMBREON060295 Dont think its a game. Maybe its like in the coding?

  • The Gameboy is the new iPod.

  • The intro to this song reminds me of Rtype.

  • fuck, i love chiptunes.

  • damn good man...keep it up :) Just did a cover of a track on gameboy instruments myself...you can do so much with those sounds if you know what your doing.

  • wow.

  • 10 people are macs

  • @rapacki its a program on the gameboy color, it uses sounds used to make gameboy music...and with that ppl make their own songs aka (chiptunes)

  • Hey dude, this is really good, i have an old game boy, but dont know where to get the software, D: Id love to be able to make stuff like this :D keep up the good work dude!!

  • Comment removed

  • can you download sounds anywhere

  • I remember when I played my first Pokemon game on the Gameboy color...*sigh*

  • It looks very difficult. I want to do that, too; those songs are awesome!

  • LSDJ FOR LIFE!

  • Okay dumb question... Can this be done with a Gameboy Color?

  • @DarkPrince1337 I don't see why not, unless the GBC has some sort of lockout chip for this that the normal GB doesn't, which I doubt it does.

  • 9 people missed the like key D:

  • i remember my gameboy it was purple and see through man those were the days

  • wtf, that sucked....

Just tipping around on a gameboy...

  • @AbenteuerDauerfeuer1 The song was made on the gameboy. The 'tipping around' was him changing the sections that play each bar

  • clean your nails

  • there are actually teaching classes for this

  • lsdj rocks hard. great job dude! Btw, i assume you are on 8bc. Do you know if the site is down. I am experiencing problems with it.

  • @ChunkieTehMaster Yeah i think it's been down...

  • @littlescale How do you get this on a cartridge?

  • lsdj, nanoloop, or midines for chiptunes? Or FL studio for nintendocore?

  • This really picks up at the end!

  • I really want to get into a system like this. Is it hard, I'll conduct a google search but if u have some good links to point me towards I'd appreciate it.

  • @aeondesign Really all you have to do is get a program called LSDJ and find a homebrew cartridge to upload it to. LSDJ is a program that only runs on a Gameboy, and it's basically a music synth.

  • @pastorrtom your just feeding the goddamn trolls.... how i hate them soooo

  • Do you have a download link to this track (.MP3) Because its so fucking epic I want it for my ring tone!

  • lol my friend a while ago got a backlit, transparent case DMG, to make his chiptunes...im to cheep so i use an emulator XD

  • I've actually known LSDJ for a while but never got around to using it. It sucks that they do not sell the official GB cartridges anymore.

  • This is insanely awesome! I normally mainly listen to HVSC - Commodore 64 music, but this I could actually start listening to.. Can I just ask, is everything 100% from the gameboy? or have you added drums or something?

  • @wbysniper lol

  • @wbysniper How does making music or playing music on a Gameboy make him a fag? Is he playing with another dudes penis? Is that what this looks like to you? Dont flame peoples on the interwebz just cuz you didnt have a gameboy growing up :P You know you actually dig this insanely, but you're afraid to admit it..

It's okey, we, the nerds of eletronic music, forgive you, sir!

  • @pastorrtom u are also a fag, and, a pansy

  • cool!

  • @wbysniper And you don't understand the concept of 8 bit genius, or how black holes are dangerous.

  • @Chibbiekid nor am i Steven Hawkings or a nerd u dipshit

  • @wbysniper Dude, that's the naem of the song. Seriously, this is genius if you played games like this back in the day.

    Of Course, you did not.

  • @wbysniper Wow, you're tough. Trying to insult people over the internet? You're a such a bad dude.

  • @waffacone i know, i a black belt in internet karate

  • @Chibbiekid black holes are made up by a atheist kripple, u my friend are a tool

  • I got a ROM of LSDJ but it was glitchy as fuck :(

  • where can i get a LSDJ? i need to learn how to make chiptune for my band! and plus i love chiptune!

  • when i find game boy classics they always have tetris in them

  • sounds very commodorish

  • love this track! check out homonintendus I make 8 bit music too. Love this stuff!!!

  • GO GO GAMEBOY CLASSIC!

  • I'm 12 years old and what is this?

  • @meanberganimation

    :face palm:

  • @drummingkid150 Its a meme. Look it up.

  • vuvuzela makes this vid better cuz it gets my ears off that crap

  • hmm

  • littlescale shit is dope!!!!

you ever gonna release the midi sega ? still really want to get one...to complete the midines, mssiah, synthcart 2600 setup!!!

  • I'm curious about making chiptune tracks and gameboy's hardware seems awesome... So I have an old game boy color and i'd like to know does it make big difference for the sound to use colour instead of original gb with the tracker? :P

  • Ahhhh, 4-bit sound... Will It ever cease to amaze..?

  • clean your nails

  • good vid ^.^

  • i've always liked this track. never commented and i don't know why. i think i tried to remix this on renoise a while ago, and then again on LSDJ, but i couldn't get a nice enough pulse, and i love pulse, so i just gave up. if you have a MIDI for this, it would be much appreciated, i'd love to try and remix it again one more time.

  • Excellent.

  • Very nice, dude. I hope I will find this module cheap on düsseldorf's rag-fairs ;-)

  • Littlesound DJ is dope but i prefer using nanoloop.

  • so this is how crystal castles make up their songs

  • Win

  • @zootechnicsfuckurbut actually this isn't. they use different hardware to make their music.

    they could be using:

    commodore

    amiga

    atari

    etcetc

  • @hacksign23 plus wasn't their some controversy about them stealing some of there ideas from other .xm's or .mod's or something? :S

  • @fluffjelly Stolen tracks from 8bitcollective artists, apparently.

  • @zootechnicsfuckurbut crystal castles kinda suck

  • @zootechnicsfuckurbut whats wrong with crystal castles? granted I've only heard a few of their songs, I think theyre alright.

  • its amazing looks reli hard to do ide love to do it

  • how do you do all this leave me a komment on my youtube channel plzz

  • @jadeybabi93 Hi! This is with a GB program called LSDJ :)

  • hey how can i turn my gameboy color into a lsdj please helpp!

  • @MrBowskii you need to buy the game and lisence 1st

  • Comment removed

  • @littlescale butt wheree do u get it :(

  • @littlescale ... THE tracker for GB, it's perfect I tell you... PERFECT.

  • @littlescale I am curious of how you actually use the thing. I've read tons of guides on how to use it, but I can never seem to come up with more then random noises. And I mean random noises, it doesn't even compromise a song.

  • cool song.

im currently composing my first lsdj song

  • A furbee is more advanced than the technology on the lunar lander :]

    Too bad furbees fucking suck.

  • @monkeyfuckingtweetle

And on what did you base this information?

  • @monkeyfuckingtweetle to bad lunar landings fucking suck (but shes a good hoe and gives me my money)

  • props =]

  • i want the game for makin music

  • cool tune!

  • ahh Live play mode FTW :)

  • Cool! Hey, I don't know if this is true or not, but I once heard that the original gameboy contained more advanced computer technology that the first space shuttle. Anyone?

  • Really? Because the first shuttle was designed in the '70's and the first gameboy came out in... I think '88 or '89.

  • iirc i had heard it was the N64 that had more processing power than the computers used in the apollo 11 landings.

  • So does a TI-83 calculator.

  • ..The hell are you talking about? Their custom ARM7 kicks your ass any day.

  • yeah I heard that too I dont think it was more advanced but it did do more multi tasking

  • Yes. The computer on the Apollo 11 was just used for management of fuel and calculating trajectories.

Gameboy has double that. No, Tripple... no wait..

  • hm... memories.. the sounds oh memory... i never have a game boy before but snes or nes... its jahhh... memorys.. sound.. damn turtles...ninja... old games... miss you much. but now i can download a n emulator and play it on my laptop!!!! :D

  • long live the old school fadeout

  • a big fan of new nintendo i am not but i like this music and love the old consoles

  • very awesome! can't wait to meet you in december!

  • What is this?

  • its a game boy music track written by my using the software program LSDJ.

  • if ur using a gameboy how did you get the cartarige can you buy it from sum where?

  • i use LSDJ myself, very impressive in live mode :D

  • what exactly would i use to put lsdj on an old game boy cart?

  • It is not possible to put LSDJ onto an original game boy game cart. You will need a flash cart of some sort. EMS, bung, or bleep bloop-brand flash carts for example are all compatible with LSDJ.

  • Of course you can use Gameboy Color as well, but the original phat Gameboy is unmatchable.

  • I will say this stuff is amazing... i just heard about this style of music very recently... and now im hooked... i create music myself... and littlescale, you are an amazing artist
