Wayne Dyer's book, "Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life: Living the Wisdom of the Tao" has a great description of the 'outer path'.

I've been told Sean's mother believes atheists have made it to heaven on the golden rule. I suppose an Atheist doesn't actively follow an inner spiritual path?

BTW, saw a joke once that a cult evolved into a church based membership count. My Presbyterian youth minister taught that religions other than christian (including Catholics) where occult and in a cult!

I respect Sean's perspective. As I listen to his video, I reflect on my inner spiritual experiences in God. They confirm my beliefs in the Church. The "spiritual tools" of prayers and devotion that Sean's Mother taught me are real because I've experienced truth. I don't need to be in the Church because I know the truth within. However, I enjoy company and the power of community prayer work, etc..

I believe Sean has for some reason chosen a legitimate, but outer path.
