I know this video is old, but thanks for posting it. I live north of Watford City, and LOVE this area. It is hard to understand the real majesty of the badlands, particularly the North Unit, unless you can stand there and see it yourself.
My family from California was in awe when they visited the first time.
It's so difficult to try and capture the majesty of this place with a video camera. I've tried to do it myself. But again, I appreciate your efforts and your placing these videos on You Tube.

There doesn't seem to be much wildlife out there, or is it that your primary interest is geology?

I am more interested in Geology, but the truth is that the wildlife was hiding. I took this video in between downpours.

It's a great place. If I lived that close, I'd visit more often. Still, I enjoy the southern Badlands where I live.
