The VFX on the overall was good especially where the new and fresh looking castle masks out to the old abandoned castle. The sync is good. But there are some unresolved issues, the blood on the dagger is on the light side of the red shade(blood is a bit more darker so the specularity), which keeps it from synchronizing with the BG plate.

For the Horror part the ideas were good but they should have worked more the execution and especially the lighting for setting the horror mood, You see a ghost like in the mid day, you just gonna have a coffee and continue working! But VFX is work anyhow and the final product was pulled out well! congrats to Anushka, its pretty much a turning point for her!

same goes with the cloth and the swords. Because the lighting in the 3d part and also compositing was not totally professional, the cloth dynemics was pretty cool though

arundhati has taken help of visual effects and sounds where else 1920 frighten you by the timing and acting of the actors and the locations overall 1920 is good movie which u should watch

i have seen Arundhati movie in Hyderabad in 70mm screen and Dolby digital sound movie was excellent and good but..something was missing I think the reflection of the movie which doesnt follow you once leave the cinema hall which is must for a horror movie , look now I am not saying that this movie is copy of Hindi movie 1920 but i suggest you to watch u the movie 1920, the story line of arundhati and 1920 is very much same but 1920 is more scary than arundhati,

excellent work from arundhati team!!! its a gift to indian film industry , i think bollywood should learn from telgu industry its high time. bollywood always lacks in special effects, original screenplay and also we have lot of bad actors . i give this movie a 4 star * * * *
