Wind Waker is a very dark game, with plenty of violence.

You stab a man in the head with a close up angle and everything is about death and shit.

If you gave the game TP graphics it would be one of the darkest Zelda games.

Well first off, you start the game off, lighthearted and such and OMG GIANT BURDS, your sister gets kidnapped in a very er.. something.. scene, and the words "She's gone, just leave it" leaves a very sad tone onto that scene.

Theres plenty, if you actually realize at the end of the game, speaking to ganondorf, he's not just insanely trying to break the world :V He wants his home and people back.

Not to mention you drive a sword through his skull, mature graphics = D:!

There's some dark stuff in there.

When you come out from pulling the Master Sword everyone in the market town is a re-dead. Everything is black and white and gray and the world is ruined.

@MasterGiegue NO! i must disagree. Majora's Mask is by FAR the darkest game in existence. The main theme is doubt VS faith and usually doubt wins. You where dead people's faces, you have 3 days to stop the apocolypse and you have to repeat those days over and over again. Seriously if you haven't then play that game.

Thats so true. My theorie is that the motivation behind the cartoon look of WW lies in this reason. Thats why I love WW, it has a dark story and a kindish look, two extremes in one game. TP is the exact opposite, but (unfotunately) sucks.
