  • i hope you'll do the rest of the song too, it's just to beautiful XD

  • Thank you. I learned this part from Hiroko Kodama last year. She is a professional koto musician and I was lucky to play for and learn from her in Yokohama. I plan to finish piece but am practicing Nagauta shamisen piece now.

  • where did you get this natation?, i love it.

could you please give me?. i've find it for a long time!

    thanks.

  • I can't quite make out the score here.....just a bit too small. "Haru No Umi" was written for one koto and one shakuhachi by Michio Miyagi in 1929 and today played frequently on New Years eve (be sure to visit his museum when in Tokyo!) so don't quite know what this two koto version is all about.A good reason to learn Ikuta-ryu. I have loved Miyagi's music for over 30 years.

  • Thank you, your comment is a good one. This is the Miyata Kohachiro arrangement for two kotos and 1 shakahachi . Miyata Kohachiro arranged 編曲・春の海 to provide a bigger sound for large venues while preserving the beauty of the original piece. I have just finished modifying this video's caption and description to include this new information.
