What is the VAr beam? And why is it there?

@deathslicers its a glitch that appears when you activate all beams, the game doesnt know what to show when you try to shoot it so it glitches your game... badly, but if used correctly it'll just reset your game

I learned the hard way that it MUST be Super Missiles. Regular Missiles will EFF THE GAME UP! Map only scrolls to the left! Samus disappears while she loses Energy randomly!

You don't start over with missles because during the cutscenes at start the game gives samus missles to fight mother brain then takes them away

it's easier to this from the landing area or the room with the super missile by the old escape tunnel. That's where I do it at least.

This does not work at all..I'm using ZSNES..maybe that's the reason..but I lost my saved game because of this..thanks.

@Slork8 its not going to work on that, plus you need to practice, its easier to just escape mother brains room and go save then restart from that save point because then it starts you at the frigate from the beginning.
