If you're somewhat good at fake-casting you don't need to waste your best spell (read: Penance).

I just find it the easiest to fake with Penance, I mean using it to fake wouldn't be a waste imo, because that leaves you open to freecast flash heal and when those are critting 900+ and i'm sitting at 20% spell crit I'd say it doesn't fall to far behind from being worse than penance. You're right though, doesn't matter anyway since i'm holy I have to fake correctly.
