His dvd the groove workshop is as close as youre gonna get without going to the bass nature camp. The dvd is 40 bucks, but totally worth it, 5 and a half hours, and it has really changed my playing and my overall veiw of music.

Freaky, you can buy his DVD (there are 2 dvds in the pack) about his 2008 workshop. The title is "Victor Wooten Groove Workshop", published by Hudson music. It's a good tutorial workshop; you will probably learn very good stuffs out of it, and may change your approach on how to learn to play groovy music. Victor has a very humble attitude. I encourage you to buy it.

Yeah, the guitars can be annoying, but Fodera is always right across the aisle from the Mesa/Boogie booth. What's interesting is usually Mike Pope, Matt Garrison, Dominique Di Piazza and Hadrien Feraud are there rippin it up and the guitar players are usually silent.

Couldn't agree more with funkybassmonkey. Victor writes some of the worst music ive ever heard. I get the albums just because they are so amusing. If you don't agree listen to the song "Cell Phone" off of soul circus. He's getting sloppy in his slapping and tapping. Victor needs to stick to what he does best, fingerstyle. All of the solo bass adoration has gotten to his head.
