  • Its Too Fast I Cant Tell Which Is 3/4 Or 4/4!

  • I see why he is using ear mumps!

  • Nice work!! Your shifting of time signatures that rapidly and without drawing yourself to attention when doing it is awesome!!

  • wtf is 4/3???

  • This is like some sort of circus act "o_O

  • Horrible

  • Time signature is just counting, it's math. 3/4 and 6/8 are the same thing in the amount of space they take up but they can 'feel' different depending on you put emphasis on the notes. In 6/8 you are just dividing the 3 quarter notes in half and counting it out 1 2 3 4 5 6. The 2 4 6 in 6/8 would be the up beats of the 1 2 and 3 beats in 3/4 time. Each note is just a beat.. when music it is more upbeat you are literally putting emphasis on the up-beat.. rather than the downbeat.

  • @atl2maryland I confused the shit out of myself with time signature at first and math is one of best areas. It's just counting.. Whole notes last the longest, 32nd would be very short. It really is a must that you understand this because once you're aware of what you're doing as FAR as time thats when you can conciously experiment with different rhythm's.. everything note you play takes up a certain amount of space or time, and you can put emphasis on different beats.. which gives you feel.

  • ma c stai a fà? vergogna

  • Too funny! He just walks away from the beat with out saying anything. Lol

  • I like how his HiHats are really high up... thats how i like to play them

  • He is in fact playing in 3/4 time. the 4/3 I beleive refers to polyrhthyms he is playing. So, he is playing groupings of four over a feel in 3/4. Or he is bullshitting it.

  • Iv'e gotta say, one of the wierdest drum setups I have ever seen.

  • cool!! listen Meshuggah ;)

  • it's not they is such a beat, what you do is 3/4 bass snare or 4/3 snare bass

    if you get me? :S

    like twist it around

  • why does the denominator have to be even.....im can shred the drums but im surprised how much theory im lacking, i know what the top number means but whats up with the bottom one?

  • @xxxslayerxxx666 Bottom is the length of the note.

    1 = whole note

    2 = half

    4 = quarter

    8 = eighth

    16 = sixteenth

    32 = thirty-second

    (Ex. 7/16 is seven sixteenth notes in each measure)

    Due to our logistical and systematic world, people would rather not count in odd numbers, it's just too hard. But then again... screw the world.

  • The bottom number signifies the count.

    4=quarter notes

    8=eighth notes

    16=Sixteenth notes

  • no refferring to 4/3 of course that doesnt exist but he's saying its a 4/4 over a 3/4.

    welcome to polyryhthms

  • yaaaaaaaaaaaa3///////////////////4

  • this drum part at the beginning sound like stengah from meshuggah...except there's not snare drum

  • i thought so too, happens to be very similar

  • Nasty!
