Hi, thanks so much!!!!!!! I didn't have to struggle for days, just an hour or so before I was hooked up to this video doing a google search. My printer is a Canon MX320 and this solved the problem in the 2:15 minutes it took as I followed the sequence you laid out. Amazing, thanks again!

i followed your instructions but instead of having a zero and pressing button 4 times then the other button twice, I have a 1 on the display so when i pressed button 4 times then the other button once it didn't work for me, any ideas what to do next as its setting me daft it just keeps coming up error 5200

Thank you for your help! Ps. Error Code p08 or 5200 means that color cartridge is junk :) So every time you try to print colored stuff you will need to reset the printer again.

Excellent, this cleared the error. Except the problem turned out to be that the feeder roller is chewing on a wire that is part of the printer's wiring. Now the issue is physical rather than software based. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Thanks a lot! I had to do something a bit different to solve the problem on my MX340. Press the Stop/Reset button 5 times instead of 4, and carry on. The printer screen should turn blue, your computer should have detected new hardware. Then Reinstall the printer on your computer. Do this only if the instructions in the video did not work for you.
