We actually just drove to Batsto today. The birth Mother of the Jersey Devil lived in a cabin deep in the woods surrounding Batsto Village & the creature itself was born in there. Her house is no longer there, but the foundation is. Take it from a local who knows the area. All you will find, if you make it across the messed up bridge, is the foundation of her home about five miles into the nature trail.

i was at dinner at my professors in house in leeds point last week and was informed that the house was right down the st. from her house. there is no road sign. from rt 9. (coming from exit 48 G.S. Parkway) you make left at cvs traffic light. youll pass a church w a graveyard (same graveyard as in video) make 2nd right. go to end of rd. that will be the rd with no rd sign, bust a left and thats the road. finding the actual foundation is up to you! good luck

Tonight, A&E's t.v series, Paranormal state, did a case on the jersey devil. They interviewed a few eye witness's, they had explained almost the same thing. IN there ivestigation, night to, during the hunt, on the thermal camera, somthing was noticed deep in the woods. The creature lurking the wods, came out, and gave a profile view. The creature seemed to have signs on it's back, and a long face. Mabey the Jersey devil? I believe so, do you?

I just saw a program on tv last night that had 2 eyewitnesses from 2004 that live in southern New Jersey. It was a wife and her son who saw it at night right outside their house after a new snowfall. It flew from a tree on their property to their roof, leaving footprints which were photographed and unidentified by wildlife experts worldwide. They took polygraph exams, and passed with flying colors. I would LOVE to see this thing up close, so my next camp trip is southern New Jersey.
