Hi! Thanks for your comments. I went in November which meant that the weather was good, (but it also meant that there wasn't so much water coming over Angel Falls later in my trip). I guess it's a compromise you'll have to decide between. On top of Roraima itself it's typical to see all weather types in one day, with rain, mist, wind and perfect sun taking turns every few hours.
My trip with Geodyssey was organised from the UK. It included the Roraima trek plus a trip to Angel Falls & to Margarita Island so it's hard to say how much Roraima cost. Geodyssey wasn't a budget option & there are cheaper operators out there, particularly if you book locally in Santa Elena. However, I felt that we received excellent value for money, especially in terms of quality and quantity of food on the trek, and a guide who was head and shoulders above any other groups'.
We organised our trip through a company called Geodyssey. Everything ran to plan & the guide they hired was absolutely superb. I'd really recommend them.
Its not permitted to trek Roraima without a guide due to the conditions on top of the mountain.
NB:The cheapest way to arrange it is locally in Venezuela, from the nearby town of Santa Elena. Here several companies offer group trips (<12 tourists) or alternatively you can hire guides (& porters) independently.
its really amazing!keep it up!

How amazing!!! I am currently planning a trip there and I have two questions.
1st: What time of the year did you go?
2nd: How much did you pay for the 6-day-trip from Santa Elena with Geodyssey?
Thanks for the inspiration!!!
