The best thing to use for a potato gun is a grill sparker from a gas grill. It has a red button on it just buy one at lowes for about 5$

its just an airpowered rocket, not airsoft, airsoft is a bb gun, its kinda the same exact concept, but youd need to make an actual air reserve with pump action , like most airsofts,  what was it you sprayed into the tube?

I think it was WD40, or some other flammable spray. I think he flicked a sparker that lit the spray and that pushed the shit out the tube. Thats how i made mine, and it can take out a windshield with a potato.

What if you play at a field with vehicles - what vehicle is gonna notice a friggin bb hiting it? Nerf ball or a pyro hitting the side is obviously gonna be noticed, and the vehicle is disabled.

What about taking out a team? a bb launched from an oversised tube landing within 15 feet of a team couldnt possbly be counted as hit..

They have airsoft gernades with rubber projectiles that are not BBs.

This is more like an Airsoft RPG, or artillery. A weapon does not need to be a bullet, nore does airsoft need to be a 6 or 8mm BB

Hey man nice cannon, little tip, to improve the combustion in the chamber, move the ignition source(grill lighter) to the rear ov the chamber, this will cause the hairspray to ignight from the back to the barrel allowing all of the hairspray to burn which = a ton more power.

Yes there are airsoft fields in Canada. Second its was not a Kevlar vest he was wearing. Do a bit of research bud. He is wearing a standard LBV Load Bearing Vest. Not even designed for Kevlar. As well 90% of all gear that airsofters wear are not faux.

Hey, one piece of advice, the combustion chamber is too big. You should have made it smaller, maybe it should be about 12-15" long. Any bigger, and the combustion reaction won't be that big. the smaller the chamber, the bigger BOOM! Good luck,=.
