This is such a fantastic Collective Soul song and a fantastic song period! This song always reminds me of those awesome teen movies from back in the 80s and early 90s. It has such a soundtrack feel to it.... also a roadtrip song feel to it.. anyone else feel the same way?

Wow, this goes back a few years. Look at the hair. True talent, America's most under rated/ under played bands. Let the radio and record people get in the way and that is what happens. If you are in their club you get dissed. I have always supported this Hard working honest band.

I was 16 when they played this, those years of CS were so amazing, I love how they sound and the looks. However, I still love them now with all the changes because they are a real band and there's not much of that these days

Collective Soul is awesome! I may not have been around when they were a huge hit but my parents sure were. I am just glad they got me into listening to these guys! I remember when i saw these guys in Jersey 3 yrs ago and there was a lady who was holding up a sign saying "Can you please play Goodnight Good guy, Its my Birthday!" and Ed saw it and turned and asked the guys if they wanted to play it and they said yes! But then Ed said "This is y were a real band, We just switch guitars, not tapes"!

I agree. The things that made CS what they were, was Ross's guitar and Eds lyrics. They're not the same now. Sad. Was my favorite band in a big way, not so much now.

Thier new stuff sounds overly commercialized and somewhat, i dont know,...fake. If you know what i mean. Besides Ross nad Shane being gone i think it has something to do with this Dexter Green guy that co-produces all thier stuff now with ed. When ED produced them alone it was so much more real and engaging.

Hey hey now you're getting me wrong here. I said I still love the new CS. Still my favorite band (tied with Zeppelin and Dishwalla). I have the Home cd's, not the dvd. Of course Joel and Ryan are great musicians. Afterwords is a great album. I'm just saying, I don't love the new CS as much as I loved them when they were all the original members. To me, their best work was their first 4 albums (didn't care for Blender or Home). Afterwords plays on their old style a little more and I love it.
