From what i rmb, Isshin wanted ichigo to learn the final getsuga tenshou and since Isshin knew how to use this technique, theres a high chance that he might hav once lost his shinigami powers due to tat technique too causing him to go to the real world to be a family man instead of being a captain.

Something about no zanpaktou stronger than him in 1000 years... and Ichigo would make an awful captain, just because he's badass powerful doesn't make him captain material. Also, he may not have "lost" his shinigami powers but he is still weakened from using Mugetsu and definitely not stronger than a few people in Soul Society

Ichigo lost all his power, but urahara made a zanpakutou that would return ichigo's shinigami powers to him. Isn't Ichigo the one who defeated aizen even after he evolved 2 more times since his fight with the captains?

i bet rukia obtained bankai because after ichigo lost his powers he did the fullbring arc which would give his powers back by gaining fullbring powers. too gain his reaper pwrs he had to feel true despair which he did so when he stands up he gets stabed by a silver zanpaktou which we find out is rukia. Yumichika has never stated to have a Bankai, rather a false shikai by "insulting" his sword with a name it doesn't like, and a real (kido-based) one he rarely uses as it isn't suited for someone in the "melee division".
