I also own a 2010 SE. I went with the flowmaster single muffler dual tail with the resonaters and tips. I was thinking about going straight dual but the V6 motor's tuning isn't set up to get that V8 growl. However Flowmaster had did their home work and designed the perfect sounding system for a V6 Challenger that blows that sound away. V6's can sound really good too you just have to have the right system and not try to make it sound like a V8 'cause it's not.

@mustbehiggy is your SE the 250hp or the 305hp version? even the 250hp isnt really as under powered as they say, hell my 350 vortec v8 only puts out 250-260 and its a little heavier than ur car and ur car puts out VERY close to the same torque as my truck and my truck has more power than i need however handy to have on the highway or interstate. plus ur v6 dosent require premium gas either. ppl like the v8 for the feeling of having it and for the sound when theres nothing wrong with the v6.
@mustbehiggy I respectfully disagree It is a lessor car that is just the way it is. It can be measured. I'm am glad that they are making that 305hp version now though. If i was going to get a v6 version of one of the muscle cars i think it would have to be the mustang 13.7 in 1/4 mile, a stick, available gt brakes and suspension and 30 miles to the gallon freeway damn. Its no big beautiful Challenger but gotta give it to em on performance.

the v6' only problem in that car is how much the car weighs, a V6 in a 3,600lb plus car, that was made for a V8, will show you what it meens to get what you pay for, witch is why the obvious choise would be the R/T model instead... but for a V6, it definetly sounds good.
V6s can be real nice, but the car still weighs so much that it could take all the fun out of it. 250 hp challenger se = 170 hp most any other car because of all that extra weight. Still would LOVE to have the RT version tho.

@nascarguy101 Okay, I don't know what's going on here. But I have the SE and all I can say is.. for me it was more about having a nice looking car that's fun to drive.. But also won't break the bank every time I need to hit up the gas pump.
I agree that a V8 is truly what a muscle car is all about. But it's not like people buy mustangs and challengers just to have a meaty muscle car. If they did then of course they WOULD buy the V8 versions. I hate it when people think it's a lesser car.

@mustbehiggy I have the SE as well and I drive for 6 hours a day for work so the V8 would of cost me a couple vacations a year in fuel. All of these internet haters drive a riced up civic and come on here and bash this car. The V6 has a nice amount of power and it saves me thousands on insurance and fuel every year. I have a great time driving it.

@mustbehiggy is your SE the 250hp or the 305hp version? even the 250hp isnt really as under powered as they say, hell my 350 vortec v8 only puts out 250-260 and its a little heavier than ur car and ur car puts out VERY close to the same torque as my truck and my truck has more power than i need however handy to have on the highway or interstate. plus ur v6 dosent require premium gas either. ppl like the v8 for the feeling of having it and for the sound when theres nothing wrong with the v6.

@mustbehiggy I respectfully disagree It is a lessor car that is just the way it is. It can be measured. I'm am glad that they are making that 305hp version now though. If i was going to get a v6 version of one of the muscle cars i think it would have to be the mustang 13.7 in 1/4 mile, a stick, available gt brakes and suspension and 30 miles to the gallon freeway damn. Its no big beautiful Challenger but gotta give it to em on performance.

the v6' only problem in that car is how much the car weighs, a V6 in a 3,600lb plus car, that was made for a V8, will show you what it meens to get what you pay for, witch is why the obvious choise would be the R/T model instead... but for a V6, it definetly sounds good.

V6s can be real nice, but the car still weighs so much that it could take all the fun out of it. 250 hp challenger se = 170 hp most any other car because of all that extra weight. Still would LOVE to have the RT version tho.

@SavingPrivateBrian ur right however i have a 2010 v6 that looks like a muscle car more than 90% of the v8 challengers because it has all the add ons u can get from factory...im only 16 so i got a v6 instead of a v8 for insurance purposes and when i put an exhaust system in it, noone will expect its a v6 they will just assume muscle car
