I've already got the earthquake my dad is selling me his fs-gt2 controller for it to me for 50$ because my antenna broke and he's selling his earthquake to me for 50$ so I'll have 2 it needs new gears because he stripped his right away. He has all the parts needed to fix it and should have it by the end of febuary. Should have it operational by this summer with a new controller for me earthquake. Any thing I should know about putting new parts in. Have the earthquake so in the end I will have 2

I just bought the earthquake 3.5 the electric version and i was wondering about the charging of the batteries. Am i ment to charge them both seperatly while they are compleatley removed from the car or am i ment to leave it put together and plug one in therefor charging them both at the same time? it doesnt say much about that in the book i got. - paul

From what i have seen that doesn't even come close to any of Traxxas products. the power that it is putting out is week. get with Traxxas its better so that just proves that you get what you pay for.

Ive been trying to decide on whether to get the eahquake 3.5 or an avalanche,

Im looking for more realistic full size driving characteristics, but need it to be easy to hold a tune, and the cost of running (fuel consumption) to not be to high or exspensive.

I can afford either car but not both :(

hi I have a 2.4ghz earthquake and my failsafe only works when plugged into the ch1 slot in the receiver it is supposed to go in ch2 but it does not detect the signal loss when the transmitter is turned off even though the servo works fine when it has a signal . but when I plug the throttle servo/failsafe into ch1 it works great? Since I know it works in ch1 and it works with my servo is my receiver faulty or is it the failsafe,if so what failsafe should I use for the 2.4ghz radio?

i have a problem, i buyed the earthquake 3.5 from a ebay seller, its new in box and everything it brand new, but they send me the earthquake 3.0, witch have as you know a big difference, motor .18_ 3.0cc, and not a .21 _ 3.5.

Im trying to solve the problem with them, but can you tell me the big differences in top speed and acceleration. i need to know that so i can know the better way to be refund or ask for other thing.thank you for your time.

A little clarification. This one is also a beast when it comes to performance and is very good for competition. However there is a huge price difference in tmaxx and EarthQuake. i'd say this one is worth buying for what its cost. Rest is all your choice. If you get a redcat I will be available for tech support ;)

The 18 engine is powerful enough. Speed is good due to 2 speed tranny. But if you wanna put a 21 engine, it will simply slide in easy :D make sure to match the gear ratio on bell gear Thats it.

oh yeah, sounded like the diffs weren't shimmed quite right or something like that cause there was a metal on metal grinding sound when it was on the dirt, just one thing redcat might be able to fix before they introduce it.

a little bit different. improved stuff under the hood, well placed n good battery n receiver compartments, you can seal them too. plus engine is much more easier to start n tune. Runs great. shocks are bigger n work great.
