There are millions of adults who have children, but far fewer are 'parents'. Too many fat lazy arsed parents who teach their kids nothing, instead expecting govt schools to do it for them.
*presses 2* My child didnt do his homework because homework has no purpose and doesnt teach my child anything *hangs up* *calls back presses 3* Your teachers should have enough time in their "busy schedules" to teach the lesson in class, sitting around and assigning homework and worksheets is not teaching. GOOD DAY SIR!
@Jimkbbh Perhaps true, but out in the real world people are assigned work that is silly, easy, beneath them, etc. etc. etc. but it's still their job to do it, and no excuse to not do it claiming it isn't challenging. If something is that easy, do it, and then learn something on your own initiative.
That is why I love being Australian because even when the joke is against us we can still laugh instead of being like the Americans and sueing everyone
Retired NC teacher here and mom is Australian. Kudos to this message. Of course in the USA a school would probably be taken to court if it was used! I LOVE it!!!!!
Schools deal with this crap everyday. Watch Nanny 911 or similar shows. Your good kids are in school with those-and these parents and their kids take up all the school's time and money.
It would be funny...it it were true. It took me 30 seconds to search for the school on Google, open up skype and call them. That's not what the message says. (They even have a separate line for absentee students, so that part about calling to lie about it is not included on the main message)
Actually, I heard from my relatives in Australia that public schools over there are horrible! Everyone they know gather up their money to have their children attend private schools (even low-funded private schools). The public schools in Australia have a lot of discipline issues taking place on campus.
I disagree. I went to a public school in NSW and it was fine. Obviously some schools are better than others, and they could always do with more funding. But they certainly aren't horrible.
lol, but i guess education plays a role. I mean the idiot parents that called to the school were previously in the education system, right? Probably the kids of those parents are going to be the callers in the next generation. So teachers have nothing to do about that, huh?

All humor, such as this, comes from reality.

This is a propaganda scam recording that only exists in some Right Wing Americans mind.
No Australian school would ever leave a message like this, it's an insult to Australian teachers and Australian schools.
If they had made the recording with a genuine Aussie accent, instead of an American one, it might have a chance of being faintly believeable.
