  • This is not a How to Video as claimed; but rather focuses on the filling with water with minimal construction. It shows neither how the water is collection, the how to make associated connections, nor the storage of the water. It does however show that a large team of labourers are creating synthetic streams; although cool, this is just one of many parts of the system. Therefore, this is NOT a How To.

  • @donsjuand Hey, thanks for watching and offering your insight. to get the full effect of the "how to" you should check out Part 1 also, then the title may make more sense. You seemed to have skipped an entire video before offerng your crticism. Thanks for your commenting all the same!

  • @thePondHunter Oops

  • @donsjuand LOL!!

  • about how much did this cost to the owner?

  • This project would run about $40,000.00 because of the overall scope of this project which contains multiple waterfalls, streams, pooling areas, and a huge basin for rainwater harvesting purposes. If you know someone interested I hope you'll pass along my name ;-) !!!!!

  • Oh yes, you bet i would! but $40,000.00? I rather have had a koi pond installed, about how big can a koi pond be for $40,000.00?

  • Let's just say a pond could be pretty darn big for 40K. there is an area of this project that is pooling and fish could be kept there, but there would be the risk of them getting washed downstream!

  • LOL! Rather have a secure koi pond!

  • Steeply, simply super! there are not words. It do two streams unite in one? Pump one or more? and how many does a pump rock litres at one o'clock?

  • Yes, it is steep.....very steep indeed. There are 2 pumps running the system.

  • I spoke with the owner of this system about 5 months after the installation. he reported that thte system was working very well and reported that one of the interesting aspects of this installation is that the water has not turned green and NEVER built up any type of algae even on the rockwork. I will be seeing hime again soon and look forward to hearing more feedback. Since this first install many have been installed and the feedback has been very positive.

  • where is this water coming from? was it collected then released from a tank first?

  • For the first fill on this rainwater harvesting system we filled it with water from the homeowner. Usually we'd leet the system fill naturally but since this was the first of these systems ever installed we filled on right them so we could test the system.

  • Nice video- Gotta love working smarter.
