  • @LilJayyEss oh i forgot to mention great wat to teach the 9 year

new words and way to respond to quickly

and if he can create a youtube account by himself im pretty sure he knows what to do about his gum by now

  • @glfields70 I suggest you go tell your mom that your tooth hurts and maybe go see a doctor. Hope you get well soon! :)

  • so i just put baking soda on my toothbrush? lol

  • This didn't help...AT ALL

  • Baking soda alkalizes the mouth aiding in cavity prevention and decay.

An acidic environment is detrimental to teeth health.

  • well i used to brush my teeth with only baking soda but i started noticing that my gums would start wearing off over time and bleed for no reason. I stopped and just started using toothpaste. I wouldnt recommend using baking soda but thats up to u.

  • Anything abrasive does ultimately wear off enamel, so if you are considering baking soda, do NOT use it regularly, only sparingly. I read reviews on abrasive toothpastes such as the Pearl Drops "toothpolish" that claims to whiten teeth - the paste is pretty rough, llike an exfoliating scrub. So the irony of baking soda and other abrasive products is they say it'll whiten teeth, but if used too often, enamel will began to wear, making your teeth shadier and prone to later problems

  • I always put toothpaste on my brush and some baking soda on top of that.

Is that OK or also not suitable for everyday use?

  • @Ni5ei I don't think it'd be suitable either. Maybe not daily, but use on a weekly basis (only my opinion, although I've never tried baking soda before).

  • For all of you wondering, the reason why it is bad to only use baking soda is because it's really bad for your enamel. So to those who are only using baking soda, don't be surprised if your teeth fall out. What you should do, is brush with baking soda, and then brush with regular toothpaste to keep your enamel strong.

  • *blink blink blink blink blink* I use only baking soda because it makes my teeth white and toothpaste doesn't.

  • im sooooooooo annoyed by these commercials!!

  • Don't use fluoride, it is poison

  • He said that baking soda can be bad if used incorrectly, but never said what was considered incorrect usage. I have a cut on my gums that was infected, so to avoid any irritation from the strong flavors of my regular tooth paste, I've been using baking soda the last couple days. I'd love to know if I'm doing something wrong by brushing with baking soda.

  • He said using it solely, by itself is incorrect b/c the abrasiveness can cause wear.

Baking soda kills plaque bacteria on contact. You don't need to brush with it, just swishing it around will work.

  • thanx mr.blinky

  • seriously i use baking soda only

  • lol this guy is cool
