Well it's pretty apparent that guys can very well sing in the whistle register now as demonstrated by Adam Lopez. It's dangerous to go that high without proper training though. This guy's a true master.

Seems to be going out of his way to prove he's the real deal. A bit over-the-top, IMO. I still like him, though. Bet he gets tired of always being requested to sing Opera #2 at every concert (10 years going now). I like Crane's Crying as well, but he hasn't done many songs that are in the same vein. His pop songs are kinda bland for my taste but I will always be a fan of his ballads.

This performance is good. At 1:16, Vitas starts a split-second late. It's quite rare for him to do that.

I know that Vitas sometimes sings in a different style to save his voice under certain conditions, such as Bird of Happiness (due to walking around as a duet, doesn't hit high notes either) or some recent performances of Opera 2 (just as a stylistic choice, still sings high notes the same).

It's quite sad how he keeps having to prove to people that he's not lipsynching by randomly interrupting the flow in the songs and not singing some parts. He's such a talented singer-- people are just jealous.

Actiuni scenice impresionante ca ale unui actor desavarsit ce se puteau observa cu ochiul liber, o muzica fabuloasa ce te cuprindea pana in maduva oasele si cel mai mult placandu'mi duetul dintre dl. Ghe. Zamfir si Vitas, pe melodia genial realizat - Ciocarlia, o compozitie realizata special pentru Romania !

Vitas a demonstrat că ştie să facă spectacol, chiar dacă nu are în spate o orchestră uriaşă. A întors microfonul pe toate părţile ca să demonstreze că vocea lui este reală, nu este mixată. Vocea lui aduce stele mai aproape
