I hope you have replaced the zxt by now, but if not, I would recommend replacing it with an 18"+ a custom rezo crash. They are a bit thicker in weight that regular a customs, so they are a bit brighter, and they also have 'wobble' to them because of the expressed tonal grooves. This wobble gives the crash more 'give' so it can suck in the blow of the stick and reverberate it back. So it should last longer. They are expressive cymbals and very articulate (I just got a used ride in the mail and n
@xTiediguy thanks man, i try to be modest. I know my kits not the greatest, but i put a lot of time and money into it and i wouldnt want any other kit =)
Wait so where did you buy this at? And how much is it? I'm looking for a drum set where I can try like double bass songs. I need some ideas so if you can help me out that would be great!! :D
@TheGuyWhoDidUrM0M not exactly sure yet but some bands im keeping in mine is more lamb of god and parkway ddrive of course, and then miss may i, as i lay dying, all that remains, unearth, texas in july, august burns red.
@tamakit123 thanks and its an evans power centers snare head theres a buncha different types of it so if you try it out make sure you try out all of them
heres my opinion. i told you a while back to get trick dominators or detonators. dont. in my opinion they were not for me the mounting system sucked, and the feel was way to direct (duh) but it felt odd. i gave myself time to try to get used to them and i could not. i ordered dw 90002s hooked them on my kit and i fell in love. if your coming off a chain drive pedal i really recomend trying direct drive but also trying dws. i came off of eliminators. nice drums btw.
Cool setup, how are the Tama Hyperdrives working for you? Not a big fan of Demon Drivers as well, mainly because they seem way overpriced. Give direct drive a shot though, you might like it.
don't wanna hate but the last vid i saw you had your crashes screwed down pretty tight. maybe loosen them and they won't break? I use fast crashes which are thinner and i've had them for years (not broken but as you know some asshole warped my 16"). on another note i've used the chris adler sticks and they're pretty cool nice new set up. I've also recently re set up my kit (also without my 10" i find less drums = more creativity)
@MapexRG i told most people who asked in the most of the videos, my crashes were on pretty tight because it was a little technique i was doing for the studio, and actually those crashes held up just as long, ive had my crashes loose in the entire time ive been playing drums and they just break im just a hard hitter

i love how honest you are about your kit. most drummers always talk about how "amazing" their kits are. you just calls em likes you sees em..
