On the night this took place Triple H reformed DX for one night only with Chyna and the New Age Outlaws to fight radicalz and then he came out and did this and turned heel again.

@simpkin15 After loosing the belt to the Rock at King of the Ring, and Vince going away to be a genetic jackhammer, his character was kinda in limbo for a lil while and remember many of the fans were really getting behind him and in his rivalry with Kurt Angle he was the one the fans rooted for until this. HHH announced that he was Rikishi's partner in running over stone Cold a week later I think.

But the gimmicks that some of the superstars are given are just too lame and un-impressive - such as the miz's character, kozlov's character, khali's character, cena's character, zack ryder#s character etc. and the superstars with the good characters arent pushed, such as morisson, kingston, marella, r truth, etc. WWE had some good characters and are depending on the old ones to carry the WWE forward....

If those guys were in the WWE back in 1999-2004 their character would've been better. Zack Ryder needs a tag team partner, Cena needs to be the hard ass again. Morrison mic skills has to improve. Kofi shouldve been in the championship contending spot.

This to me was the golden age of WWE/WWF This was the moment I became a hardcore fan of the shows. I still watch to this day. but the mystery and suspense is gone. it feels like they do not take the time to build a story anymore. Back then the stories would take months to unfold.

How ever the past few weeks I have been seeing hints at the old ways of telling a story. the Rock, Cena, Miz story to and interesting turn on Monday I thought.

Yeah would have to aree with Kingz on this. He really was still a heel, though he just didn't have quite that heat/hatred that he use to during this period. It had tailed off quite a bit by this point. It seemed like it was really tipping more towards the face side though about this point (which I hated being a fan of the old a-hole heel version), but this segment definently had me happy.

Although being a face in the Attitude Era meant being more of an anti-hero and a badass. Pretty much how everything Stone Cold Steve Austin does and says in the ring nowadays is considered face.
