@vent0lin616 Thanks mate. I saw a video of a father and daughter playing this and they definitely had a backing track so I'm trying to see if anyone has it. Cheers
hmm i'm learning this atm but iv never heard the song... trying to listen to it to learn how to play it... wah i cant get it... i get the first part...but eh... PRACTISE
Man! I learned how to play the song with your tab and by modifying some parts myself, thank you, I've been playing it for months now with that tab and today I finally decided to make the video, check it out if you want to.
Yeah, the MG series is notorious for its terrible tone.... in the end, it's all in the amp you use, because amps and speakers make up 80-90% of your tone.
If you can return it, try and get a Roland Cube out of the return money. I think the Cube 15 is about $100 and has better cleans than the MG will
I think its too late to return but i can easily just buy a new one, i just dont want to buy a new one and have it sound the same lol, you think i will be able to tell the difference with a Roland Cube
hey i think i found a mistake in your tab for the tremolo picking part you have the same thing repeated 3 times but in your vid you play something different for the third time
The only effects I'm using are reverb and a slight, barely noticeable delay. The reverb was straight from my amp (before it blew up), and the delay is through a Boss DD-3
Pretty good. It sounded awkward at points because you played one guitar part, then half of another at times, so it had a really jumpy and not so clean feel, still relatively well done.
Haha yeah. I had to mix all three parts together because i thought just playing one part throughout was boring, so some of the transitions I admit, are awkward and a couple of them were even made up on the spot as I went along.
it's an Epiphone Les Paul Junior I've had for about 4 years. volume knob is about halfway and tone is at about 8.
My amp is a cheap amp I got for $100 on the clean channel, I don't even know its name. my controls are: gain at 2, bass at 6, mids at 8, treble at 7, and reverb between 5 and 6.
i also used a boss dd3 for just a tiny bit of delay.
well done, super excellent cover. x

Where did you find the backing track for this?

@RotaxKarting12 The "backing track" is the song itself.

i like how you spliced leads with rhythm in your cover makes it seem a little more technical and defined 5/5

i cant figure out how to get my amp to put out more of a sound like theirs, not so metal sounding
rockett116 2 years ago
From what I know, they use Fender amps (a Twin Reverb re-issue and a Dual Showman from probably the 70's).
What do you mean by "not so metal sounding"? Is your tone thin and metallic, or just venturing too far into metal territory?
vent0lin616 2 years ago
yeah i just got a marshall MG10, just not that crisp sound that EITS sounds like, it may be my guitar but i doubt it

Ah, okay. Try it out before you buy it first though. I'm sure you'll like it though. The Roland modeling can't be beat for the price

hey i think i found a mistake in your tab for the tremolo picking part you have the same thing repeated 3 times but in your vid you play something different for the third time
magi1029384756 2 years ago
Really? The whole tremolo picking is done 4 times, but my tab only has it 3 times, since the first time I just play it an octave lower.
vent0lin616 2 years ago
and for the first time, it's still tabbed out.
vent0lin616 2 years ago
