  • well done, super excellent cover. x

  • great cover man!

  • Where did you find the backing track for this?

  • @RotaxKarting12 The "backing track" is the song itself.

  • @vent0lin616 Thanks mate. I saw a video of a father and daughter playing this and they definitely had a backing track so I'm trying to see if anyone has it. Cheers

  • that's not a fucking emo song

  • god bro. you're a little out of tune. other than that, good job, good song.

  • hmm i'm learning this atm but iv never heard the song... trying to listen to it to learn how to play it... wah i cant get it... i get the first part...but eh... PRACTISE

    your good dude xD

  • what happened to the tab??

  • @hmwillow the link wasn't working anymore.

I'll put up a new one once I can pull the tab from my old computer

  • @vent0lin616 thanx mate

  • but, you're right.. gotta go with the strat. haha.

  • @chronickudos3478 I actually want a dual humbucker Jaguar with coil splitters... but that's mad bank money I DON'T have... :(

  • beautiful, man.

  • Played a little too fast at some parts..

But al in all, it was good.

Keep working at it, you're good.

  • woooooooowoowowowo ... check my channel for hd postrock live videos I recorded !!!

  • damm it man!! awesome

i must learn this song ^^

  • Man! I learned how to play the song with your tab and by modifying some parts myself, thank you, I've been playing it for months now with that tab and today I finally decided to make the video, check it out if you want to.

    Peace, and thanks again.

  • i cant get to the tab it wont let me see it

  • I dunno what's wrong, because I can get to it myself.

    so umm I danno ¯|(°_o)/¯

  • A string out of tune

  • i like how you spliced leads with rhythm in your cover makes it seem a little more technical and defined 5/5

  • Thank you! :D

  • Man you play it so clear

    how do you play it?

  • There's a link to my tab in the description :]

    thanks!

  • i cant figure out how to get my amp to put out more of a sound like theirs, not so metal sounding

  • From what I know, they use Fender amps (a Twin Reverb re-issue and a Dual Showman from probably the 70's).

What do you mean by "not so metal sounding"? Is your tone thin and metallic, or just venturing too far into metal territory?

  • yeah i just got a marshall MG10, just not that crisp sound that EITS sounds like, it may be my guitar but i doubt it

  • Yeah, the MG series is notorious for its terrible tone.... in the end, it's all in the amp you use, because amps and speakers make up 80-90% of your tone.

If you can return it, try and get a Roland Cube out of the return money. I think the Cube 15 is about $100 and has better cleans than the MG will

  • I think its too late to return but i can easily just buy a new one, i just dont want to buy a new one and have it sound the same lol, you think i will be able to tell the difference with a Roland Cube

  • Ah, okay. Try it out before you buy it first though. I'm sure you'll like it though. The Roland modeling can't be beat for the price

  • hey i think i found a mistake in your tab for the tremolo picking part you have the same thing repeated 3 times but in your vid you play something different for the third time

  • Really? The whole tremolo picking is done 4 times, but my tab only has it 3 times, since the first time I just play it an octave lower.

  • and for the first time, it's still tabbed out.

  • THX alot for tabs man i have been looking for a good tab of all 3 guitars together and now i have it thx man and good job

  • you're welcome!

  • Nice job, this has to be my favourite song to play to, just makin up riffs and junk for it.

Never put down the guitar! =D

  • Thanks!

  • hey man, great job!

you think you could send me the tabs???

  • They should be in the link in the video description.

If the link doesn't work, I'll re-upload it.

  • Was that song playing with you in the background?

  • Yeah, it was.

  • I thought I heard the drums and a few extra notes... still VERY impressive tho,

    Keep up the good work!

  • c'est tellement beau j'adore cette chanson et de voir quelqu'un jouer, il me fait aimer encore plus

  • I don't speak French, but I'm sure what you said was a compliment.

    Thanks!

  • you're very good, and emo

    a good combo

  • HAHAAHHA

  • @Slickslider123 not emo. the end.

  • Thanks so much for the tabs! I appreciate the effort!

  • this may sound stupid but what effects are you using? and what kind of pedal do you have?

  • The only effects I'm using are reverb and a slight, barely noticeable delay. The reverb was straight from my amp (before it blew up), and the delay is through a Boss DD-3

  • My fav from EITS. Maybe not perfect but still you gave feelling of that song. Keep on rockin!!!!

  • amaziiing!! :P

  • Pretty good. It sounded awkward at points because you played one guitar part, then half of another at times, so it had a really jumpy and not so clean feel, still relatively well done.

    5 :D

  • Haha yeah. I had to mix all three parts together because i thought just playing one part throughout was boring, so some of the transitions I admit, are awkward and a couple of them were even made up on the spot as I went along.

    But thanks!

    =]

  • you're amazing, really:)

i like the end of the song.

    and you're pretty;>

  • Thanks

    =]

  • thank you so much

    :D

  • hey bro

    thats REALLY good

and i love how you combined all three guitar parts

i want to play it that way but, i get too confused with all the parts

is there any way you can tab it out iwould love that man

    again Kudos ;)

  • Thanks for the comment!

The tabs are in the video info

  • you are amazing

  • Preciosa canción.

Chaval, muy bien tocada la canción.

Los Explosions in the Sky me encantan, la canción es muy bonita y tú la tocas muy bien.

    Un saludo.

  • gracias :]

  • your versions good but i like more oscaracer's version =)

  • hailssssssss ! Such a well-done job !

  • wow, i never heard this song, its beautiful.

  • for anyone else that wants tabs, they're in the video description =]

  • can i get the tabs to this version?

  • I don't have tabs for this, as I combined all 3 parts into one, but I can write out a tab for you if you'd like.

  • that would be awsome

  • great job playing such a beautiful song

  • what is your guitar ? It got nice tone there. By the way, what effects did you use to get this kind of sound. It's just simply beautiful

  • thanks :)

it's an Epiphone Les Paul Junior I've had for about 4 years. volume knob is about halfway and tone is at about 8.

My amp is a cheap amp I got for $100 on the clean channel, I don't even know its name. my controls are: gain at 2, bass at 6, mids at 8, treble at 7, and reverb between 5 and 6.

i also used a boss dd3 for just a tiny bit of delay.

  • thanks you three :)

  • I don't know the song, but this sounds really nice (:

    Keep up the good work!

(Oh and thanks for the comment on tOzzBiatch's video, I'm Florine btw)

  • really good! =D

and thanks for ur comment on my video (:

  • Nicely done!
