Insurance companies shouldn't have to go broke. But healthcare should be a right. And profit should not be a priority.

Let the private sector handle health insurance. Anything done by the government has been proven to be costly, inefftctive, and/or done with large amounts of waist. Those are the FACTS. If you wanted a small business loan with their kind of track record you would get laughed out of the bank, then they would lock the door behind you. The reps who champion this know this and that is why their kids go to private school, private doctors, and so on.

Because the Constitution by design is a limitation on government, to prevent it from gaining too much power. There are about 20 things they are allowed to do, that's it. Health care isn't one of them. Socialized medicine gives them control over every aspect of our lives. That's why they've been undermining what was the best health care system in the world since the 70's. If we want it to be the best again then we need to get government out of the way completely.

As an American I am outraged! I demand a public option! I insist that the goverment plunge us into massive debt that will come to at least 2 trillion for 5 years of service, not to mention all the insurance jobs lost, and the fact we dont have enough doctors. And the goverment should control health care, since they wont manage it right, and theyll stick all kinds of pork on every healthcare spending bill, mabey trillions in pork! Yes, I demand this!

No you're wrong, instead I demand that government stop harassing business into giving people a reasonable chance at insurance. I demand corporations keep charging more and more so less and less people can afford healthcare, which isn't a right, it's a privilege only for the super rich. In fact I demand doctors be legally prohibited from treating anyone who isn't worth at least a million dollars. Further more I demand all the money saved this way be given to the rich in the form of tax cuts.

Yes and I demand that insurance companies are forced to give insurance to those with pre existing conditions, so the insurance companies can go broke! I demand (while we are at it) that I can buy life insurance on someone the day after they die so I can collect 1,000,000 dollars.
I demand that more attorneys be allowed to sue doctors, driving up insurance. I demand that the goverment take over the insurance gig, so orginized crime can even have more fun with insurance fraud.

People for healthcare reform understand your concerns. But your concerns stem from the priorities you see healthcare providers should have. And that priority is profit. Healthcare should be a human right, thats why you need a state to provide healthcare so that it can negotiate prices and not go broke by providing that right to people with pre-existing conditions. Insurance companies shouldn't have to go broke. But healthcare should be a right. And profit should not be a priority.
