i buy one ML-2 from boss, i buied in internet, and the market give one mt-2, I used around 3 days mt-2 and later i give back and take my ML-2, and i see, mt-2 is hard to take one good sound, but is a good pedal, i like solo's with he, and ml-2 is more easy to take one good sound and is best to make a Rythm guitar, if u want a good set, take the 2 pedal's ^^

could someone help me out, i have a bc rich warlock cost me about $200 and a 10 watt bc rich amp and just bought this pedal. It sounds nothing like this it just sounds like the strings sounds a being distorted. Is it the cheap guitar or amp or both. Or will getting an expensive amp help.

It'll almost certainly be the amp, you should look for around a 30 watt amp. You can get distortion on lesser watt amps but it ends up sounding more like 'thud thud thud' than 'chug chug chug', if you know what I mean.

I got some pretty well distorted sounds out of my first guitar (a squier for £50) and I have a 30 watt Marshall (30DFX).

well...it depends what music you like to play, when i went to my local music store i actually got to try out both the metal zone and the metal core, honestly i like the metal zone better because it has a better sound, i only got the core cause it was cheaper. they both dont have a big difference but in my opinion the metal zone sounds better.

Its pretty simple the ML-2 can pull off the metalcore and all modern extreme metal sounds better then the metal zone. The metal zone however, can give you a better thrash old school metal sound then the ML-2. Both can cover all ranges metal but the ML-2 excells in new school metal while the Metalzone is better for old school metal. Depends on what your going for so choose wisely

The main difference is the MT2 has a semi parametric middle EQ knob. You can shape your sound a lot! Pretty olds school, harshy and kinda weak. I prefer to use it along a good tube amp. The ML2 has a more "Modern" metal sound... and you cannot control the Mid frequency. So, it's up to you.
