Papp was voted the second greatest Olympic boxer of all-time. He retired undefeated. He beat the hell out of Tiger Jones, knocking the guy who kicked Sugar Ray Robinson's ass down three times in doing so. He beat Jose Torres as an amateur. He retired 27-0 as a pro and probably the only reason he wasn't a pro champion was because he lived behind the iron curtain. Too bad....
Perhaps the best Hungarian boxer. Hungary may have some rising talent coming up though. Back in '06 a guy named Janos Nagy was on an HBO undercard. And there's this new Hungarian who fought this year.
Only three boxers have won three Olympic titles, Laszlo Papp (Hungary), Teofilo Stevenson (Cuba), and Felix Savon (Cuba). The latter two never fought professionally.
Papp László is one of the Greatest Boxers ever, who knows, perhaps the Greatest ever.
3x Olympic Champion in a Line, European Champion and have won all Profi Fights., Never have so much Amateur Fights won how Papp on so a Statictic how Papp László.
because of that also he is honorable world champion with the associations.

@gonzalezsamurai It's a shame that the latter two never fought professionally.
Also, Jerzy Kulej of Poland came close to three, as he won two Olympic titles.
