just do the first step and then rename it to .ipa

I just watched the first 53 seconds. You can rename the .zip file to .ipa after you uncheck the one box he said to.

When you are at the part of the download where it asks for location and name of the file change "Save as type:" to "All files (*.*)" then rename the file to .ipa

I have a 3rd file along side "payload" and "iTunesArtwork" with the apps im trying to get on my iphone... which is "iTunesMetadata.plist"

Ive tried doing the whole process once with copying all 3 of them and once with just the 2 that are mentioned in the video. But on both occasions i get an error when i try to drag them into the test-copy.zip file... which says "cannot create__rzi__00.437"???

any ideas?

these days u don't have to do this anymore, most apptrackr apps have everything done for u, just rename .zip to .ipa!

This is good information. Thank you for sharing. I would like to share something that I found which was much more streamlined.

Download iFile from Cydia. Send the link where the .zip file exists to your email. Open your email on your iphone. Then download it to your iphone. Open iFile and locate the file you just downloaded. click view zip file then install it. Both ways will work, just another option.

Eh, dude, you know that if you're downloading an app from the internet, it's most likely already cracked.

So all you really have to do to get it into your iPhone is really just rename it from .zip to .ipa, and it should be alright. You have to do part1 in your movie, but what's up with changing the code?

If it's a .rar, multiple .rars or a big archive, it could be smart to explore the archive in chase there's another archive inside ( a .zip inside the .rar). Extract that, then rename to .ipa .

I'm so thankful & glad because i couldn't find any videos on how to convert the .rar file into .ipa without having to download a program, but i said eh, let me give this one a try and if it doesn't work i'm over it.
