I will say this again because for whatever reason nobody seems to believe it and they're not willing to do the research.

This accident was NOT FATAL. It was a terrible tragedy and the corner worker, Rob Dages, was severely injured, however he is NOT DEAD.

He fractured his PELVIS, TAILBONE, and ONE RIB with several deep bone bruises. He had lacerations (those are CUTS) on his FOREARMS and had numerous bruises and scrapes.

The accident took place in 2001 at NHIS, google it yourselves.....

I am surprised nobody stopped the race after the first fall.Don't know much about these races,but the corner workers have no protectives on...no helmet.....how are they allowed to enter the exact path of the race..?They put their life at risk,not to mention the other bikers who has got to deal with more obstructions on their path.That is no common sens......hope they are all right..

They are all OK now. The accident happened in 2001.

While it seems stupid to most people to run onto a race track, the corner workers are the angels of moto gp racing. They are more concerned for the safety of the riders than themselves.

They saw the bike on the track as a potential danger and wanted to clear it as soon as possible.

The corner SHOULD have been under yellow conditions, but sadly it was not because BOTH corner workers were on scene.

That is NOT standard procedure

2. I live in New Hampshire and I work in the racing industry as an announcer. We tend to hear about deaths in the state.

yellow flag? come on! first there's obviously an injured man in the middle of the track. He got lucky that he could crawl away, if someone would have hit him he was dead as well! Red flag immediately, people's lives were in danger from the beginning.

That is bad.............do they hav yellow flags? what are the marshalls doing on the 'hot' track. you are not allowed on the track even as a marshall. that should have been red flagged, or the marshalls wait until a bigger gap to retreive the bike. crazy, i hope this footage was used in court by the races sponsers family and other races, i hope the track got sued. safety is vital. did anyone die?
