A new law on mass media was necessary as media changed a lot since the former laws were created on this issue (1987, 1997, the former under Communist rule!). There are many errors in this law that should be amended, but it has been in effect for almost a year and hurt nobody. Abortion's still legal and gay marriage was never an option, similar to the UK.

Collapse of the EU is only good if it's voluntary.
If the political class decides, for their own reasons, to hang onto the sinking ship, they'll transfer every national asset and impose gross austerity to save the EU before the ECB actually does go into receivership. The EU will continue to exist, only by another name, and in a much more dictatorial manner.
If countries just bow out and say they won't be attending meetings in Brussels anymore, then it's all good.
